|
PROPOSAL GUIDELINES
Applications must reflect innovative approaches to teaching and learning. Identify and describe the purpose(s) and significance of the approach and any internal or external funding received for the innovation. Describe the implementation and outcomes for faculty and students, and the cost to replicate the innovation. Discuss the impact on practice. A dissemination plan also needs to be included.
The application should be word processed using a font size of 12, single-spaced and limited to no more than 5 pages (excluding references and supportive materials).
REVIEW PROCESS
Applications and proposals will be evaluated and ranked by a review panel, appointed by the President, comprised of individuals from TOBGNE member schools. Reviewers may not be from schools submitting applications or proposals for the award category (research/teaching).
One application from each category will be selected for an award of $1,500.00, which may be matched by the recipient’s school depending on availability of funds. Award winner will be selected by December 1, 2009, and honored at the spring TOBGNE meeting, January 28, 2010.
Applications or proposals should be electronically submitted to
